There is an urgent need for America to reform its present policies related to birthright citizenship and chain migration, to halt the increase of legal immigration, to better track all who enter our country, to protect American jobs, and to effectively limit illegal aliens’ access to our nation’s costly social services.
Each of these issues significantly impacts America’s population size and growth – and the quality of life enjoyed by our citizens.
On the environmental front, NPG must also lead the fight to highlight the direct links between U.S. population size and the fragile, damaged ecosystem we inhabit. If our nation is to be sustainable, NPG feels these environmental issues must be addressed – and they are just as urgent as America’s immigration crisis.
But we need to know that you feel as strongly.
Your support has demonstrated that you are highly attuned to population issues – and we are looking to you for guidance on how we can best confront and solve them.
So please, take a few minutes right now to complete your 2016 NPG Questionnaire and provide the valuable feedback we need to make NPG more powerful and effective.
The dollars you return with your completed questionnaire will be invested wisely, helping to break the vicious cycle of population growth and bring about the goal we all share – a livable future for ourselves and for generations to follow.
Thank you in advance for your loyal support of NPG.
World population, now over 7.3 billion, is predicted to rise to 9 billion by 2050, an increase of almost two billion, or 23%, in the short space of only 34 years from now.In the highly unlikely event that per capita greenhouse gas emissions could possibly be decreased by an equal percentage in such a short space of time (a blink of an eye) the total amount of worldwide emission would remain the same!
From this simple illustration it would appear that without drastically reducing the size of world population, there is no solution to the problem.None at all.So then why do our world leaders pretend that there is one? What is to be gained by pretending rather than by proposing a solution that would solve the problem – a reduction in the size of world population to not more than 1- 2 billion?
