For the past several years, NPG has offered an Annual Scholarship to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourgage more young thinkers to study population issues and their long-term effects. Each year we receive, on average, over 3,000 entries.

We hope to continue to offer the NPG Essay Scholarship in future years. Topics are typically posted to our website in January; essays are normally due in April; and final decisions are usually announced in July, at which time prize money is awarded to the students' school to be applied to their accounts.
