A listing of the population and migration positions of leading U.S. based environmental organizations.

Since many NPG members have asked us to report on the various positions of noted environmental and population organizations, we have compiled this listing.

The information contained herein is taken directly from official publications, board resolutions, position papers, internet websites and in some cases personal contact with an organization's staff.  Positions are current as of April 1999.

In an effort to reflect as accurately as possible all groups' positions, each organization received a pre-publication copy of this document to proof.
