NPG is currently contacting the entire United States Congress asking them to create a US Commission on Population Growth. It is our belief that this new commission could be modeled after The Commission on Population Growth and the American Future (also known as The Rockefeller Commission), established in 1972.

In an effort to show the Congress the wide range of areas evaluated by The Rockefeller Commission, we supplied them with a compilation of recommendations from the Commission on Population Growth and the American Future's report, as well as the text of the public law that established the original Rockefeller Commission.

We encourage all NPG Members and activists to contact their Representative and Senators to express their desire to see a US Commission on Population Growth created. For ideas on what you might want to say in your correspondence, please review the letter NPG used to communicate our initial ideas to the United States Congress.
